If your email mailbox has been temporarily blocked, follow the steps below to secure your Mac before the mailbox can be unlocked.
Step 1: Change Your Email Password

Log in to your email account via webmail.

Change your password to a new, strong password.

Do not reuse old passwords.
Step 2: Run a Malware Scan on macOS

Download and install Malwarebytes for Mac

Open Malwarebytes and click Scan
-
If prompted, allow Full Disk Access

Remove or quarantine anything found
Step 3: Secure Microsoft Outlook

Open Outlook
-
Select Tools → Add-ins
-
Disable or remove any add-ins you do not recognize

Restart Outlook
Step 4: Review Email Activity

Ensure the Outbox is empty

Review Sent Items for messages you did not send

Open Outlook Settings → Rules and remove unknown rules (for example, auto-forwarding rules)
Step 5: Update macOS

Open System Settings → Software Update
-
Install all available updates
Step 6: Confirm Completion
Once all steps are completed, notify support so your mailbox can be unlocked.
